MU 6040 Microphone Unit Chairman and Delegate
The MU 6040C/D is a fully digital DSPmicroprocessor based microphone unit designed for use together with custom made front plates and external microphone and loudspeaker. The MU 6040 is designed for installation inside the conference furniture, below tables or inside floor boxes. The MU 6040 is automatically recognised and receives a unique address in the system. The MU 6040 is delivered in a shielded metal mounting box. The MU 6040 is connected to the unique DIS digital communication bus - the DCS-LAN as any other DCS 6000 unit.

Connection for DIS high quality electret condenser microphones
Connection for DIS loudspeaker. Signal mutes when the microphone is activated
Digital audio and control transmission on STP/FTP Cat 5 cable
Connection for front plates with operating buttons, LED indicators, loudspeaker and mic
Multiple Operating modes determined by the DCS 6000 set-up.
